Multilinear exponential sums with a general class of weights

چکیده
In this paper we obtain some new estimates for multilinear exponential sums in prime fields with a more general class of weights than previously considered. Our techniques are based on recent progress Shkredov which has roots Rudnev's point plane incidence bound. We apply our to results concerning sparse polynomials and Weyl over small generalized arithmetic progressions.

Quadrature Sums and Lagrange Interpolation for General Exponential Weights
where > 0. Once the theory had been developed in its entirety, it became clear that one could simultaneously treat not only weights like those above, but also not necessarily even weights on a general real interval. See [3], [12], [16] for various perspectives on this type of potential theory and its applications. One important application is to Lagrange interpolation. Mean convergence of Lagra...
متن کاملHomogeneous Weights and Exponential Sums
In this paper, we give a formula as an exponential sum for a homogeneous weight defined by Constantinescu and Heise [3] in the case of Galois rings (or equivalently, rings of Witt vectors) and use this formula to estimate the weight of codes obtained from algebraic geometric codes over rings.

We use the analytic methods and the properties of Gauss sums to study the computational problem of one kind hybrid mean value involving the general Dedekind sums and the two-term exponential sums, and give an interesting computational formula for it.

Let d = degree of f and write f = f (d) + f (d−1) + · · ·+ f , where f (j) is homogeneous of degree j. A by now classical theorem of Deligne[2, Théorème 8.4] says that if (p, d) = 1 and f (d) = 0 defines a smooth hypersurface in P, then L(A, f ; t) n+1 is a polynomial of degree (d − 1), all of whose reciprocal roots have absolute value equal to q. This implies the estimate |S(A(Fqi), f)| ≤ (d− ...
